Sindhi culture
  • Sindhi culture is rich and one of the oldest cultures in the world that originated around 5000 years ago or even before that. It is renowned as the land of Sufis, peace, romance, and great cultural values. Research has proved that it began from Mohenjo-Daro, some researchers even consider before that.great cultural and artistic values. There were the great theologians of the Naqsh bandi order in Thatta who translated the fundamentals of the religion of Islam into their mother tongue.

  • In Area (140,914 km²) third largest province of Pakistan. Population is more then 30.4 million. Located on the western corner of South Asia. On East side India and on West side Balochistan province lies. On North side Punjab and on South side Arabian Sea.

Jhulelelal jayanti
  • Cheti Chand, also known as Jhulelal Jayanti, is a festival celebrated by Sindhi Hindus on the first day of the Sindhi month of Chet, which falls on the second day of Chaitra Shukla Paksha. It is believed to be the birthday of Jhulelal, the patron saint of Sindhis.
  • Sindhis also celebrate major Hindu festivals like Diwali, Holi and Basant Panchami.

  • The people across Sindh exchange gifts of Ajrak and Topi at various ceremonies. Even the children and women are dressed up in Ajrak

  • Malakhiro is one of the famous sports of Sindh. Other sports include Wanjh wati, Kodi Kodi, Beelarhoo, Thipai Rand, Notinn and Biloor,cricket,football.
Coton
  • Agriculture plays an important role in Sindh with cotton, rice, wheat, sugar cane, bananas, and mangoes as the most important crops. The largest and finer quality of rice is produced in Larkano district.
