First, the writer should read “Animal Farm.”

Second, the writer claims “ …wealth concentration is bad for the economy and the country itself, and the government has failed to counter it.”

This conclusion is stated without a single shred of evidence to support it.

The article is a collection of non-sequiturs.

Notice, not a single Amazon employee has claimed he was chained to a machine and forced to work. Meanwhile, the fact that some Amazon employee are eligible for food stamps AND they hold a job is a testament to their good character.

And no, a non-compete agreement does not stop a low-level employee at Amazon from accepting a low-level position at Walmart.

On the other hand, the writer is clearly a fan of policies that require consumers to pay more for goods and services even if the purveyors of those higher-priced goods and services are merely gouging consumers.
