Ho hum. The old “we’re not talking about GENDER we’re just talking about SEX” argument.

“It is impossible to “sex” bodies without also gendering them.”

No, it’s not. This is an absolutely ludicrous thing to think. So you think that agender people have NO sex, and you want to erase the struggles of intersex people?

“I am more than my reproductive organs and how people treat me because of them.”

No, shit? That’s why I don’t believe in gender identity lmao.

“Patriarchy traffics in gender based oppression every bit as much as it does in oppression of the body, especially the reproductive female body.”

Oh, what exactly do you mean by “reproductive female body”????????

“Patriarchy traffics in gender based oppression every bit as much as it does in oppression of the body, especially the reproductive female body.”

Examples, please?

“Using the short hand “Female,” as a stand in for a person with a specific reproductive tract is STILL gender. The choice to refer to any PERSON at all by their reproductive tract is Gender.”

No, it’s not. It’s an important classification to note for many reasons, including medical ones. Female is the word that matches the definition “of or denoting the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) that can be fertilized by male gametes.”. Whenever you talk about people who match that description, you are talking about females.

“back to their original sex assignments”

You can not be assigned a sex at birth if you are not intersex. Stop erasing intersex people.

“ Declaring that the reproductive tract is the only significant reality is just plain ole biological determinism.”

No one is claiming that being female is the only significant reality, only that people who are female face certain experiences that people who are male do not.

“It’s not radical.”

zzz… Always hear this from people who don’t know what radical feminism actually is. Radical means “root”, because radical feminism looks to dismantle the root cause of sex based oppression.

“It’s not feminist.”

Pretending that sex based oppression doesn’t exist is literally the opposite of feminism.
