I’m quiet

I’m an Introvert. Don’t confuse that with shy. I think twice and talk once. All my life people told me that I was broken. That I need to speak up. We’ve created a society that rewards the brash and discredits cautious. Isn’t that wild.

Now we have the new faux-bold. Boys and girls who are super out there and open and wild and crazy because people have to hear you! Like its a requirement in a class or a meeting or an event to speak up and contribute something otherwise you’re being negative.

This is the biggest societal misnomer of our generation: acting as if there is one true strength that suits all people, instead of having all people invest in their one true strength.
