LGB Alliance’s transphobia and Polo Glasgow ejecting transphobes

Recently the LGB Alliance, a group widely accepted to be a transphobic hate campaign, had their launch in Scotland. They intend to oppose the gender recognition act reform that would allow trans people to change our birth certificates more easily. Which they argue would be devastating to women and girls allowing sexual predators more easy access to them in vulnerable spaces. They also argue being trans is homophobic, pretty much.

Okay that last one was a bit of a stretch of the truth exactly in the style of LGB alliance, who are actually just four people and a twitter account . LGB alliance argue a number of things, but often they fall back on saying that some kind of trans support is actually homophobia. For example, it’s supposedly homophobia to allow trans women to describe themselves as lesbians, something which I’ve seen LGB alliance supporters liken to rape and conversion therapy. Why do they believe this? Because they think trans women are men and that people are going to force lesbians into relationships with men.
