The Guardian is Transphobic

I can’t tell you the last time transgender people in the UK had a peaceful weekend that wasn’t besieged by transphobic columnists penning their latest on why transphobia is good, actually. Initially it was just The Sunday Times who were prolific in the area of filling trans people with dread at the end of every week. However as of late other mainstream media companies have decided to throw their chips down too, gambling on the popularity of transphobia right now to make some quick cash.

Enter The Guardian. The Guardian were already known to be quite transphobic, not least since because they literally released an editorial stating basically as much. The US and AUS editions of The Guardian even had to issue their own statement against this which basically read like “woah mate, are you sure? And if I recall correctly some staff have left citing transphobia, others have attempted to sue over the transphobia and 300 staff members signed an open letter about it too.

The latest from The Guardian’s transphobia are two articles. One I believe is under The Observer, which is just The Guardian but more elitist. Shall we dive in real quickly?
