M. Dean Cooper is a writer and videographer who has lived and worked in Pittsburgh since the year 2000, which is the only year you get to describe that way. After ten years as the founder and editor-in-chief of the Star Wars fan journal Eleven-ThirtyEight, he began notepad.exe as a home for his more personal writing, ranging from editorials to poetry to short fiction—usually autobiographical in one sense or another.
