Why would you think an astronomer is better than anyone else?
Just because he’s a scientist it doesn’t mean that his hormones won’t win over his cultural brakes and psychological constraints. Yes, it’d be nice if they wouldn’t, I agree. I also would like to see such high profile scientists split the work from their human nature. But I fear it’s not a given fact, it’s more like wishful thinking. After all they’re still chemistry driven apes.
P.S. I condemn Geoff’s behaviour (just like Einstein’s), despite his contributions to science.
