The Closest Star System To Ours Doesn’t Have Any Planets (Yet), After All
Ethan Siegel

The amazing part in this story is how far we’ve gone with Science and its daughter, Technology. I mean, you see a faint distant fuzzy light, we call it a star. Not only now we can precisely all of it’s light features, position and stuff with unprecedented precision. We can also make a rather accurate account for all (well, kind of) variations we can measure. And, when not all of this were enough, we can also prove when, how and why we fooled ourselves from time to time.

The amazing part of this story are those standing apes staring at the sky and trying to make a sense of it all.
