Good day Nova faithful,

The beginning of 2020 has been nothing short of red-hot for the company as we have been making great process on our platform MVP as well as higher-level business planning to help bring us to the forefront of the gaming and NFT industry. Now, onto the update.

Development:

Our strongest area right now can be found in our dev team where we are slowly but surely adding more talent. The key here is not just bringing in talent but ensuring that we can retain that talent long term. This saves the company considerable time as there is a level of training that we spent on our developers as they get accustomed to our team culture and also the code base.

We are in the midst of adding additional development resources so that we can quickly move from our 1.0 NovaToken platform MVP release to the 1.1 and 1.2 releases which will be bringing forth additional functionality. UI / UX work is also underway in lockstep with development and we are eager to be able to share some visuals of the UI / UX experience to you all in the near future once ready. After we get the 1.0 release out a bigger focus on the UI / UX design will become visible to the end-user and this is when we can really start to show off our work beyond engaging with game developers regarding the platform itself.

The Rewards portal is also being worked on concurrently and the same holds true for the UI / UX work. The moment we are able to share some visuals with you all, we shall. This will give you a preview of what life is going to be like with NovaToken post 1.0 release. While we are not going to commit ourselves to a date on the 1.0 release when we have no such market pressures, it is fair to say we are actually slightly ahead of schedule and end of Q1 is looking like a possibility.

It is a small feat that we have been able to make this much developmental progress without the aid of external funding. This is a direct reflection of the commitment to owners of NovaToken have, but that is overshadowed by the talent and dedication the entire team here at NovaToken has brought. We are thrilled with this progress however long term we will require funding to get us to the top of the mountain and this is something we have been working on very hard behind the scenes.

Other:

Life after our 1.0 platform release looms large in the minds of us all at NovaToken HQ. I can assure the entire community that we are looking to make some big moves in the industry right now while no one is paying much attention.

We are engaging with Crypto Games (owners of Nova Blitz) to coordinate a partnership with them beyond having our platform integrated into their roster of blockchain-based games. What comes out of these negotiations will be shared with the community the moment we are able to from a business / legal perspective.

There are numerous other angles we are looking at right now with parties in the traditional gaming realm and within the blockchain World right now. This is part of the benefit of having owners who have deep knowledge and years of experience in the cryptocurrency sector. While we cannot share much now due to legal reasons I want to be clear with the community on our goals. This is over and above the outreach we are doing with virtually every game in the blockchain space over the next number of months. There is value to us here simply from the stance that it now puts NovaToken on many of these games radar which can serve us well in future negotiations.

We know we are playing catch-up in terms of market awareness, token value and velocity and of course we cannot begin to on-board games until we get our product out. We also have a few secret weapons in our arsenal every single one of our competitors will have no answer for. Our plan is that we will be bringing those out soon when it makes sound business sense, so please stay tuned and hold onto those NVT.

  • Jason Cassidy, CEO of NovaToken
