Anybody Can Learn To Draw
Many people think drawing is a difficult thing to do, if not impossible. It is even believed to be only for the gifted. This assumption is not totally true. Even though it is true that some people are gifted, but virtually any skill can be learnt if we are ready to input the time and energy needed. In the real sense, drawing is just another skill like driving, at first it may seem hard, but with time it gets easier. Once you have discovered how to draw a variety of things: landscapes, animals, cartoons, you ll discover that it ll get easier and easier and you’ll have no problem handling any subject.
The first important thing to know when trying to master a new skill is to expect mistakes. Any body that does not make mistakes, make nothing. They are an integral part of the learning process. It is not an unusual thing for learners to make mistakes, what matters is to learn from the mistakes.
Anybody who can write his name has more than sufficient touch and control to make a multitude of complex shapes. Nothing should hold anyone down because there are handicapped artists who use their mouth or feet to make awe-inspiring pictorial representations on paper, not to talk of you and I who have more than enough muscular control in our God given extremity.
People who learn quickly are those who are really interested in what they want to learn. The way we think is an important factor that determines how we operate. Majority are programmed to think they cannot do some things, when this information is fed into their brains, their subconscious mind brings it to fruition and they are almost not able to do it. The bottom line is think you can, and you will be able to observe shapes accurately ,define texture precisely and put it on to paper in your own “picture” and even more you will be able to apply this rule to anything in your life .
