Hi, Jack. I’m sorry you had a negative experience and I am aware that a lot of people have reported similar issues. But my review was written based on my personal experience, which was relatively positive. I was not an Indigogo backer and the two bulbs I ordered arrived as expected. Not only that, but after a few weeks when one of them stopped working, Qube was responsive to my problem, answered my emails in less than 24 hours, and sent me a replacement bulb for free.

I should also say that few if any of the usage problems I called out have been improved in the months since I bought mine. I still can’t use them with SmartThings or IFTTT. I still can’t choose a warmth level for Moods or a brightness level for schedules. There’s still no iOS app and the Android app was last updated in April.
