When you pay taxes you do so under the belief that those funds are going to be paying for things like roads and schools. You probably don’t consider that your tax money might be paying for a corrupt corporate CEO to have a golden parachute after his latest scandal or to buy a new computer lab for an ivy league college. Corporations know how to take advantage of tax breaks, loans, and federal grants in order to grow their business, and it’s the taxpayers who end up footing the bill for this corporate welfare.
