Did you know that millennials spend an hour a week on average just taking selfies? This is the most highly documented generation in history, so naturally they want to document every outing with friends, every birthday and special occasion, every good outfit or good hair day, and every cup of coffee. Pics or it didn’t happen!

There’s an art to taking good selfies. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what gender you are, or even how many people are in the picture, good selfies get lots of likes. Taking selfies when you wear glasses can be a challenge, though. You have to be really aware of which direction the light is coming from so you can avoid glare. Nothing is worse than an otherwise great selfie with shiny glasses! Typically, turning slightly away from the light source and tilting your head slightly will take care of the glare. And anti-reflective coatings on your glasses will also go a long way! Don’t forget to pay attention to your background and composition.

Learn this and other tips and tricks for taking good selfies with or without glasses from this infographic, and get started documenting every day of your life on social media!
