It took me a good minute of genuine confusion to figure out why most of the applications I use frequently were hardly usable and content barely available.

Personally, when I build something for others I want it to be cool. I want it to have awesome features that enhance the overall experience the way that I intend it to be experienced. Sure there is the 1.1% that don’t have JavaScript for one reason or another, but I tend to agree with this guy. Supporting outdated tech can put a burden on the other 98.9%, and that’s just silly.
And really? It took you a good minute to figure out that the large bold “JavaScript Required” text meant that you had JavaScript Disabled?
