A lot of places are where this is done. This is not a matter of bad luck to be living somewhere bad. I’ve lived a lot of places and I can tell you it’s common to come up against this kind of alienation, intimidation, mistrust. I guess you can miss it pretty easily unless you’re a minority or married to one.

If they don’t like that it happens? Don’t like? What’s wrong with you, guy, seriously? Try being scared shitless. It’s degrading and makes you wonder, quite rightly, who else is like that. Do you really think being pulled over for race feels like an “if you don’t like it” type of situation?

Anyway, what kind of solution is that? Moving away from the problem doesn’t solve the problem. And dozens of them are just going to uproot their lives, leave their jobs, sell their houses, take their children away from their friends at school when she FINALLY has some good friends, and just all at once up and leave, in hopes of the next place being less unlucky?
