Peer review is great but a lot of times, stats on the important things of this topic aren’t required to be kept in the first place and aren’t kept. There’s not generally going to be an official and reputable report on how brutal the cops in a place are or how racist they feel in their hearts.

Not everything can be peer reviewed, John. This is the type of thing where you have to see how a place is. Feel it out. See the body language. Maybe live there a year or two.
