Like I don’t know about that military families moving around a lot. I’m not talking about your family or military families, or my family. I’m talking about this particular big family that is not in a position to sell their houses and move, and is getting pulled over, and it’s fucked up.

That should be easy to understand and the end of the story. The response should be “that’s wrong” or similar, not “they can leave if they don’t like it”. This shouldn’t be difficult to explain or agree on. …except I guess for the inevitable assertion that it must be a rare occurrence.
