Here’s some math for you: ignorance + attitude = tragedy

By your own numbers, there were more than TWICE the number of blacks killed by police per capita so far in 2016. How did that not occur to you? Maybe it’s better for you if you avoid talking about numbers?

To be a little more specific, still keeping it simple and relatively math-free…

Considering 136 deaths among 38 million blacks, that means there were 3.5 black deaths in each million.

Considering 566 deaths total and 269 million non-blacks, that means there were 1.6 non-black deaths in each million.

If you separate out whites in particular, it’ll probably get even more obvious… so far in 2016.

“Where’s the outrage?” Care to rethink that?

And you know, even if the numbers go a different way, there’s more to it than the current numbers. Like, how would the numbers look if blacks started acting like whites do towards police officers? We may disagree, but you see, the current numbers don’t tell the whole story anyway.
