I completely agree with you that there’s something different about the way in which anti-white…

The anti-white behavior you see is, maybe not as bad as you think, precisely because of your perspective on ‘no leeway’, but I guess there’s no way to see that while having that perspective. But that’s okay because…

If the statements and articles you read as horrible are really as horrible as you see them or not, I think we can still agree that the root of real anti-white behavior is overcompensation for low self-esteem brought on by a multitude of things like the ethnic-name-resume thing. Similarly, the root of real anti-black behavior by whites is overcompensation for low self-esteem too, but the difference is that case of low self-esteem is brought on by various things.

Very similar root when men and women make bad statements about the other group too. When you feel bad about yourself, you gain a lot by tearing others down and you gain a little from building others up, whereas when you feel good about yourself, you gain very little from tearing others down and you gain a lot from building others up. That’s the way people have always been.

I do see that leeway helps and harms, depending on what the individual getting the leeway needed. There’s power in treating everyone the same and there’s power in allowing someone to go overboard and make mistakes while they find their good voice. Anything you do to excuse what may or may not be bad behavior could make it better but probably makes it worse; so overall worse. We do disagree a little on what’s bad behavior I think, but it sounds like we agree on that dynamic. At the same time, anything you do to raise self-esteem WILL make it better. Not maybe. Definitely.

It’s always controversial because people mistake “same” for “equal”, or just see things differently, but what’s practical is to teach each demographic according to their typical failure modes and success modes. That’s where the biggest gains are at, so it’s only logical to pursue that, until such time as it works and there are no longer big gains to be made, at which point we can treat everyone the same without problems.

We don’t need to teach white kids extensively to be proud of white culture. We don’t need to teach black kids to avoid a sense of subtly-assumed superiority. That’s already being taken care of by… everything.

White kids’ (and adults’) failure mode is most often assuming superiority and privilege and being pissed when they don’t get it, so the medicine for that situation is to learn to avoid THAT in particular.

Black kids’ (and adults’) failure mode is absorbing the low self-esteem that results from the interactions they see all the time between whites and blacks, so the medicine for that situation is to learn to avoid THAT in particular.

Don’t teach white kids to hate themselves, but teach them about the history of oppression and why it’s important to be careful of common white pitfalls. Teach girls and women to be careful of common feminine pitfalls. Teach boys and men to be careful of common masculine pitfalls. When it stops being medicine, stop handing it out and teach everyone the same.
