Can you try to use the
aws command line directly? If the command line does not work, then there may be a network problem.
The aws command line may look like below. This will try to read all the parameters in the SSM.
aws ssm get-parameters-by-path --path / --recursive --with-decryption

The only thing you may want to mention is CloudWatch Custom Custom Metrics are expensive: $0.3 for each custom metric for each instance / month, custom dashboard are $3 / month. Setting up a prometheus would be cheaper, and some of these metrics come for free with cadvisor.
Hi Vincent, yes you can. You can create a VPN deployment and expose it via service.
Currently we do not run VPN inside of Kubernetes because there are also other infrastructure services beside of Kubernetes. We run multiple kubernetes clusters at the same time (dev/prod) so having a separated VPN is better for maintenance.
