Loving, Over and Over Again

No matter how many times we try to walk away

Loving, Over and Over Again

We circle the same paths
each step a familiar ache
an echo of the last time
we believed it was the end

Your name
a chant in my mind
pulling me back to where we began
where the walls hold memories
that never truly fade

There is no straight line here
only spirals
only the dance
we know too well —
how to break
how to mend
how to break again

In the silence between us
we find new reasons to stay
old wounds still raw but somehow softer
like a stone worn smooth
by the relentless tide

We fall apart
not from hate or anger
but from the weight of love
so heavy it bends us
then molds us together
once more
