The US CPA certification may be the best option for B.Com students who are interested in pursuing a career in accounting and getting worldwide recognition. Others who are interested in moving to or currently residing in Canada can choose CPA Canada, accredited by the organizational body of the same name — CPA Canada. You can practice as a professional accountant in any jurisdiction in Canada if you have the Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) credential.

Every test and module needed to become a CPA Canada must be passed in Canada only. Therefore, if you intend to apply for CPA Canada as an overseas candidate, you must have a current visa in order to sit for these tests. There are two approaches to applying for & obtaining a CPA Canada certification. One approach is to obtain a certification from the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India).
