Apply Today for a Diversity Support Ticket

Our objective with NSNorth is to provide a fun, safe, and welcoming event for all members of the community.

An easy way to help

This year we are offering Diversity Support Tickets to allow for an even more diverse audience to participate in the conference.

At any time, you can donate a little bit extra as a Diversity Support Ticket Donation. Your donation (minimum of $10) will go directly towards a ticket for someone from an underrepresented group who might not otherwise be able to attend.

We hope you will consider donating.

We already received a number of donations and we sincerely thank those who have already contributed.

Who will be receiving the Diversity Support Tickets?

Anyone from an underrepresented group in tech is invited to apply. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Women
  • People of colour
  • LGBTQIA+ people
  • Disabled people
  • Single parents
  • Students
  • Those who are facing economic or social hardships

We are reaching out to a mix of different tech communities to extend this scholarship to as wide an audience as possible. In the case of more qualified applicants than Diversity Support Tickets, we will have a lottery for the available spots based on a combination of need and impact.

How do I apply?

Applications are now being accepted, and you can submit your information to apply using this form.

What are the deadlines?

Submissions will be accepted until Thursday, March 24th at 11:59PM EST.

Selected applicants will be contacted no later than March 27th. Please ensure that you provide a valid email address as we will be notifying you via email. Selected applicants have 24 hours to accept the invitation.

Are there other ways I can help?

Support from sponsors and partners is greatly needed.
