GRADES DO MATTER

Yes. For a person with big ego and average grades he will try to relief himself by forcing lies into his mind that grades is only numerical, grades doesn’t test your IQ, grades doesn’t show how capable you really are, blah blah blah.

I am one of them.

In all honesty, there is some truth in grades doesn’t matter but, we are all visual and judgmental creatures. Let’s face it, how do you feel when you are in a group and you are the one with lowest GPA. insignificant.

GPA is like the quality of your clothes you wear to an interview; it represents your competitiveness. You will be valued by that number. It shows your competence in school and that’s what is important for you to land into a job. Then, you carry on to prove your worth by showing your capabilities in live action, not the other way round.

Right now, I’m in the mid of my 3 polytechnic years and my accumulated GPA is only average so far. I am pumped to do better onwards, we’ll see.
