It’s Stupid That My Actor Dad Is The One Who Has To Teach Us Not To Be Dumb

While I do - obvisouly - understand what you are saying, I have to point one thing out: your father is an actor, a VERY well known actor (to say the least) and when someone reaches that kind of popularity his actions are followed by many, many people. I really don’t think that a public figure going to a political rally just out of curiosity or a John Doe doing that is the same thing. It really isn’t. I, for instance, can go to any political rally for curiosity. Even if it is a Communist or a Fascist rally. Nobody knows me. I’m not a public persona and my face won’t be connected to those ideas. No one will be saying “Nuno Duarte was seen last night at the Communist Party rally at the…” because no one would care, I would just be one out of hundreds. But that’s were me and your father are different: he is known! Showing up at such a place gives out a message to the public, the wrong message - even if that wasn’t his intention.

If your father wanted to know more about Ted Cruz, wasn’t it enough to see and hear what he has to say through tv, or radio, or the net? Aren’t these rallys televised/recorded? Wouldn’t he be equally informed? I wonder.

To me, the question that remains to be answered is: is he going to a Trump, a Clinton or a Sanders rally too? :)
