Intro
The World Economic Forum is the only global organization for cooperation between the public and private sectors. Deeply anchored in these sectors, they bring together the world’s largest leaders including: CEOs, policy-makers, experts and academics, international organizations, youth, and technological innovators, aiming to drive positive change and build a better world. The Forum views itself as a unique platform that is Impartial, Global, Holistic, & Forward-looking.
The WEF was created in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, a German economist and engineer, and the current executive chairman. He is best known for this and being the driving force behind the organization’s annual meeting Davos meeting.
Ideas
Stakeholder Capitalism: An economic model in which companies are accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders. It emphasizes the importance of balancing the interests of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and communities, and acting in a responsible and sustainable manner to create long-term value for the company.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution: The current and ongoing technological revolution that builds on the digital revolution of the third industrial revolution. It is characterized by the integration of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and biotechnology, which are increasingly being used in various industries and sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, and finance.
Sustainability: A key focus of the WEF, they work to promote sustainable economic growth and development. This includes efforts to address issues such as climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality. The WEF also engages in research and provides resources to help organizations and governments implement sustainable practices.

Davos
The WEF is best known for its annual meeting held in Davos, Switzerland, where leaders from business, government, international organizations, and civil society gather to discuss pressing global issues and to work towards finding solutions.

Young Global Leaders
The Young Global Leaders is a community of exceptional young leaders from around the world, under 40, who have demonstrated leadership in their fields, committed to shaping a better future. They are selected by the World Economic Forum and participate in a series of workshops, mentoring, and networking opportunities designed to help them develop their leadership skills and make an impact on the world, as well as to engage with senior leaders and experts and collaborate with other young leaders from around the world.
Young Global Leaders started in 2004. Here are some notable inductees:
