Joining the “Clash & GO” Advisory Board

When it comes down to gaming projects utilizing the Blockchain, I am typically more than interested in the approach and was directly hooked when Bohdan Repekh and Yuriy Ostrovskyy from Elyland reached out to me and sent me an invitation to the advisory board of Clash & GO — the augmented reality real-time strategy game.

Clash & GO combines a geolocation game in augmented reality and a city-building strategy game with real-time battles. This approach combines as many highly attractive gaming genres as no other mobile game has done before.

Gaming accompanied me throughout my whole life — from amateurish approaches in real-time strategy games and shooters, to some high-level rankings in world leaderboards. Playing a legit “Scarab Lord” and vanilla “Field Marshal” in Blizzard’s “World of Warcraft”, I truly understand what kind of passion and dedication serious gaming titles can create.

No surprise, one of my first programming exercises — by the age of twelve — was coding some Monopoly adaption on Basic (which was kind of impossible but the board looked great!) and later Delphi.

Today, I work as a senior consultant for Cassini Consulting — an award-winning strategy and management consultancy based in Germany.

As a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, I advise clients mainly in agile and digital transformation projects. I use my knowledge and skills for companies of various sizes and industries. While being primarily engaged in scaling agile in areas in and outside of software development and dealing with disruptive cross-sectional technologies such as blockchain and smart contracts, I run a performance marketing company in my spare-time and invest in startups and companies around the globe.

I publish articles for various magazines and websites but also serve as a lecturer for educational organizations. I am an active board member and “International Twinning Officer” of the “Junior Chamber International” (JCI) — the biggest community of young leaders and entrepreneurs — for 15 years. Therefore, I work closely with the Chamber of Commerce and speak inter alia on technical disruption and agile transformation for business leaders.

Based on my background and the succesful approaches Elyland demonstrated during the last decade, I can not wait to see Clash & GO hitting the streets and enabling millions of players to battle each other while manipulating the world around them.

What “Clash & GO” is all about

Imagine yourself being commander of a strategic stronghold on an asteroid — enlarging and enforcing your base and troops while travelling with your spaceships near the surface of a huge planet to conquer buildings and find objects that make your fortress and heroes even stronger.

The ERC20 tokens “CGO” initiated during the upcoming ICO serve as voting power to manipulate the environment and make life easier for players. Players will be able to earn tokens by playing the game and selling internal ressources on the games internal auction house for tokens. To support the demand and prices of the token, the game will spend 15% of the revenue to buy tokens from external exchanges and subsequently burn them.

Highly professional and experienced team

The game is developed by Elyland and will be published regardless of the upcoming ICO as it is not needed to gather funds for development but to build a way more massive userbase than any of their games has experienced before. In fact the game itself is going to be published already in late summer 2018 — way earlier than the token generation event will happen. This is more than worth to mention as potential investors should not be afraid of the typical “exit scam risks” coming along with ICOs. Beside this fact, the project furthermore offers a token-based economic strategy which incentivizes bag holders and takes care of an enduring demand and shrinking supply — sounds more than interesting (see Whitepaper for more detailled information).

Elyland is an established game development company with a strong track record, uniting over 100 professionals into a decade-long success story. Over 77 million users trust and enjoy their products worldwide. Their last major title with 1M+ players was “Draconius GO” which also utilizes their phenomenal augmented reality platform and was valued by Paul Tassi on Forbes some months ago as “a more built-out game than Niantic’s [A/N: Pokémon Go], full of features fans have been long-requesting for ages, and new ideas.”

Let’s summarize: “Clash & GO” blurs the line between reality and the virtual world. Finally, users will get the opportunity to influence the game in real time, get acquainted, create alliances, advance together to victory, and earn cryptocurrency at the same time. Thanks to its innovative gameplay, high security and the use of blockchain technology, “Clash & GO” opens up new horizons not only for players and crypto enthusiasts, but also for the whole industry.

Nearly 25 years after my first “digital gaming project”, things are finally coming together. I am really excited to accompany the upcoming steps as a strategic advisor to the project and be sure: You will have a hard time trying to rush my base ;-)
