Ingredients for steamed mustard hilsa Hilsa fish — 6 pieces Turmeric powder- 1 tsp Chilli powder- half teaspoon Chilli paste- 1 tsp Mustard paste- 2 tsp Mustard oil — 3 tsp Salt- 2 tsp Onion batter- 2 tsp Sour curd- 2 teaspoons

prepared method.

  1. First mix the onion batter and sour cream well. Make a smooth paste by adding mustard paste, red chilli powder, green chilli paste, turmeric powder, salt one by one.
  2. Marinate the hilsa fish pieces with spices well.
  3. Now put the fish in a steel tiffin box and spread mustard oil on top. Close the lid of the tiffin box well.
  4. Then you have to steam. Carefully place the tiffin box in the boiling hot water. Then cover with a lid.
  5. Wait 20 minutes. The heat of the oven should be kept low.
  6. Now serve hot! You see, steamed mustard hilsa is ready in just 30 minutes. Very easy cooking! White rice, polao, khichuri go well with everything. That’s it for today. stay well
