I appluad Ford for looking beyond products (automobiles) to solving customer problems (personalized mobility). That shift in thinking is fundamental as companies such as Ford go beyond designing and delivering cars to solve transportation needs of individuals and the subsequent second-order needs of people and planet. I believe we cannot simply extend the industrial era thinking to the new world where cars as computers connected to the cloud serve as one piece of the larger set of pieces needed to solve transportation problems.
