What happened
It was not possible for the team to proceed together due to conflicting ideas on how to implement the DEX and the Safenetwork not being finished in time after waiting over 1 year. While we proposed the DEX should be open source, other team member decided that the DEX should be closed source. Due to the structure of our team, the conflict could not be resolved.
We set up a vote to continue or cancel, but the team will not work together regardless of the outcome. The community voted for the project to be cancelled with everyone refunded. Everyone was refunded in September by the multisignature escrows that held all funds.
All 5,000 people received their refund from this address held by the escrows on September 1, 2018 with the total at over $10M at the time.
