It’s been quite obvious to me for some time now, prior to graduating college and being thrown out into the “real (cold) world” haha that the system is definitely set up in a way where independence is less likely and instead debt is more common. Once dependency is active amongst the majority, that breeds more power and control….which is essentially what the desired outcome is right? At least for the “superiors”….

Personal finance definitely shouldn’t be a taboo but I find that it’s mostly in the comparison to others that people clam up about the topic…it’s totally a thing that needs to be spoken about more openly so ignorance doesn’t continue graduating to further damaging measures.
