Why aren’t you wearing a suit?

I’m often asked why I’m wearing a suit? My casual response is “dress for success”. In the time we are living in you can possibly guess a person’s profession based on their dress code. Although, my concern is that given the amount of detail that is involved in one’s job, how do you find time to dress up? With the long hours, skipping meals and bathroom breaks (according to current research its becoming a trend for marketers to work through bathroom breaks), and constantly thinking? How do you find time to coordinate from the facial hair all the way to the funky socks and shoes? Some of the most successful individuals have a uniform (i. e. Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Simon Cowell) so they are not bothered by the age old question of what to wear, freeing up their time to focus on what matters to them.

I recently had an associate point out to me that my suit is my uniform. I’ve also progressed in terms of setting up automation or rather subscription, such has having someone one else pick my tie, pocket square, and socks. I also wear white collar shirts exclusively of a particular style and brand.

The point is whether you take the time to coordinate every intricate detail of your non-uniform or rather uncoordinate your outfit for the day by mix and matching. My question to you is where do you find the time to do all of this?
