Launching Cardy’s Open Beta 🎉💰
A month has passed since we outlined our vision and view of the credit card benefits landscape (here it is if you need a refresher!). We’ve been busy building, and we are excited to walk you through our Beta!
If you recall our north star that we touched on last time:
Our overarching goal at Cardy is to maximize your credit card rewards. We identified the main drivers of under-utilization to be the problems of relevance and accessibility.

At Cardy, we envision a sharing economy for benefits. One where users can use each others’ benefits and get compensated for it.🤝
The first version of Cardy simplifies and expands your access to credit card benefits, starting with merchant specific deals.
Our beta allows any online shopper to tap into hundreds of merchant-specific discounts, which are usually only available to select credit card holders. You can access these deals through our browser extension.

Step 1: Download the extension from the chrome web store 💻
Step 2: We’ll let you know when there’s a discount available ☑️
Step 3: After deciding on which item(s) to purchase, copy the product url(s), open the extension, paste the link(s) & add any extra order details. Next, add your shipping information and submit. In the backend, we will place the order for you using the card associated with the displayed discount 🛍️
Step 4: We will send you an SMS order confirmation & request payment (through Venmo/Zelle/CashApp) to reimburse the benefit provider 💬
Step 5: That’s it. Your package will be on the way 💃
Unlike other discount/coupon finders, Cardy deals are guaranteed. We don’t get your hopes up that there might be a deal, then let you down. If you see a deal, it exists and is available to be claimed.
⏭️ Next Steps
We recognize that this initial version is a long way away from the completely seamless experience that we envision. As we iterate, we will add automation and improve the user experience bit by bit! This includes the automation of payment routing, order placement, etc.
So far, we’ve only been talking about the demand side of the marketplace — that is, those who are using others’ deals. What about the benefit providers, who are given the ability to cash in on their unused deals? In this Beta version, we have sourced our deal inventory from the credit cards of our close friends and family.
