Welcome to Joe’s List of Values that You Might Want to Adopt but You Don’t Have To.

  1. Develop a routine.
  2. Break that routine, but only sometimes.
  3. Remember where you came from.
  4. Always lend a helping hand.
  5. Listen more than you speak. It helps out with a lot of things.
  6. Respect everyone you haven’t met. If you turn out to not like them, respect isn’t needed.
  7. Take care of yourself.
  8. Gather knowledge at all possible times.
  9. Understand and like the concept of hard work.
  10. Try. Just try. Life doesn’t come to you, you have to reach it on your own.
  11. Find a mentor.
  12. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
  13. Do what you love.
  14. Think for yourself. If you have an unpopular opinion, don’t be ashamed of it. Unless if it’s a racist one. Then you should be ashamed.
  15. Promote logical and reasonable debate.
  16. Listen to both sides. You’d be surprised how much you can learn from your enemy.
  17. Play to your strengths.
  18. Be yourself, and be proud of it.
