Andela Boot Camp Day 2: Sharing code in a Team

I learned that code sharing is not just about posting code online through pastebins or file hosting sites like Dropbox; It’s also about keeping track of changes made to the code using version control systems between team members. Our instructor introduced us to the centralised version control systems like Team Foundation Server(TFS) and distributed version control systems like Git and Github(a web-based repository hosting service). We also got to practice our Ruby programming and use Git and Github to save different versions of our code. It was an interesting day.
