Damn, what a summer

My son Liam graduated high school in May and is now a freshman at UGA. My oldest is in her third year at Georgia Tech. If you know college rivalries, then yeah… that’s LOL-worthy.
Since I wasn’t trapped in Trumpistan anymore, I put my house on the market, sold most of my stuff, and relocated to Mexico City. I’m now living in a glorious little neighborhood called Condesa.
As if an international relocation didn’t bring enough stress, I made it happen during a high-pressure, big-bang rewrite client project that absolutely had to ship in August. And nailed it. Also my consulting agency is 300% bigger and I finished The Rails 5 Way manuscript.
The real point of this post is not to brag, it’s to announce that I’m finally getting back into new writing projects.
Over the course of the next few weeks I’ll be doing more blogging and making progress on the rails way followup books. Hell, I might even find time to restart the Serverless title. Is that still a thing?
Finally, I want to point out that even while super busy I do try to post to my Today I Learned blog with at least minimal regularity. The latest entries are:
