But it’s interesting that you don’t hear about kids falling off the Grand Canyon, isn’t it? There aren’t even any railings put up for most of it. It’s almost like, I don’t know, parents realize they have to be really careful and are.
What I meant was, I could understand someone/a kid slipping and falling at the Grand Canyon and calling it an accident. This kid didn’t slip and fall. He wanted into the enclosure, said as much, and got in there. I agree, it should have been more difficult for him to do so, and yet, it’s never actually happened before at this zoo.
You strike me as the kind of person who doesn’t expect coffee to be served hotter than you’d like. Look, the world wasn’t designed so you can play with your phone or whatever and your kids will be totally safe all the time. Yes, even the zoo has potential dangers. Even a McDonald’s playpen has dangers. A kid can break his neck on the playground. Again, no other child has gotten into this enclosure. Isn’t that mysterious? Again, it’s almost like, since there are tons of people around, animals, etc, most parents keep a close eye on their children? What a strange concept.
And, by all accounts, several people tried to stop the toddler but he was “too fast” — maybe he *is* superpowered?
