Barstool Sports is profiting from providing a safe space for bigotry & misogyny. It’s profitable because there’s a demand for the space. There’s a lot of guys like to be on line mobs where they can tell each other that they’re being funny instead of just creepy & nasty. Management can tell itself that protecting those guys is somehow better than being 1 of them.
