Columbia Small Business Program Working with Occom

Ariana Dugan, COO

Occom applied to and won the opportunity to be one of ten small businesses that get to work with Columbia Business School students through the Small Business Consulting Program for the next several weeks. Our SBCP team will be working with us to clearly define our sales and marketing strategy after our recent merger with Cyrus Innovation. We look forward to both learning from their expertise and objective perspective and to showing them the world of digital strategy and software development. They have already shown us their ability to understand and dissect our business model, and we look forward to collaborating with them on the results of the project.

About the Columbia Business School Small Business Consulting Program: SBCP is a student-run organization dedicated to serving the small businesses community in NYC through semester-long pro-bono engagements. Their mission is to complement students’ classroom learning with real world application of business concepts and tools to make an impact on local small businesses, non-profits and entrepreneurs.
