JBass 2018 Tokyo Blockchain Summit is a grand meeting of blockchain communication in domestic Japan. Catherine, COO and representative of OceanChain delivered a keynote speech in the Summit. After making a simple project introduction, she exhibited some projects like OceanChain browser and OC wallet to present participants, she also introduced important achievement OC gained in such areas: food, communication, logistics and so on.
Later Catherine shared some latest news and practical experience of OC on marine fishery. She considered, blockchain has a bright future in development, only people should make effort together to seek solutions of some existing problem like lack of resource coordination, uncertainty of specific strategy.

During the Summit, OceanChain conducted in-depth exchanges with AVH, Hyper Pay, JNB, EBC (Empire Blockchain Center) relative to development of OceanChain at the present state. They reached a consensus on applying blockchain in marine. Numerous corporations showed their expectation of cooperating opportunities with OceanChain and chances to develop marine market together. EBC expressed that they will provide in-depth incubator services as well as help of local operation for OC.
During discussion, Catherine said, OC will continue his exploration of marine trade building as well as logistics, finance and so on, meanwhile keep innovating a new marine production and life style, and breaking obstacles of marine communication, building global marine ecosystem. Besides, OC hopes to make contribution for marine business development with corporations in all fields with blockchain technology.
World Blockchain Conference in Seoul, boost innovation of blockchain technology
On June 30, OceanChain was invited to participate and delivered a keynote speech at the “Link People, Link Blockchain” World Blockchain Conference · Seoul Technology Summit. A number of heavyweight distinguished guests, technology masters, medias and more than 500 local blockchain enthusiasts discussed blockchain core technology of next generation together, exchanging important informations included blockchain communication protocol, blockchain and cloud computing, digital currency asset management, digital currency rating, etc.
After summit, policy officer of South Korea Blockchain Industry Revitalization Association had a communication with Li Heng, CEO of OceanChain. The two parties had an in-depth talk for Korean Fisheries aquaculture development and OceanChain cooperation. Korean policy officer brought forward plenty of constructive suggestions based on Korean blockchain situation and fishery supervision at present state.
