Humanity, future and globalization
Here you go, everything I am excited about in one video:
We are living in the best time in history: today more people die from eating too much, than from eating too little; more people die from old age than from infectious diseases; and more people commit suicide than die from crime, terrorism and war put together.
The world’s political system is lagging behind, we still have a national structure there, whereas the problems that humanity is facing are global and have to be solved with joint efforts.
We are moving towards the time when technology will change the job market completely, it will take away millions of jobs. Till now, it has not been on the agenda of any political elite worldwide, there has been nothing about it in the US presidential campaigns, which means that there is still very less awareness and concern about this fact.
The future is unpredictable, so we need to re-think what we are teaching children at schools and why.
Consciousness is one of the least explored attributes of homosapiens. Currently it is being confused with intelligence, but they are two different things. Computers become more and more intelligent but there is zero progress in giving them consciousness.
Religion, countries, corporations, money are all fiction, non-material stuff which is created by humans in their mind, a universal agreement which allows us to cooperate with each other. And we can change them as we want, we can agree about something else.
