Dionysos and Osho sharing a great orgy in the sky and we pay the price!

Once upon of time, there was a love affair between THE god of gods and a princess. He was almighty and she was made out of flesh and bones. He was Zeus and she Semele. Their act of love brought Dionysos, a young god to be. He enjoyed the lush of life celebrating in huge wine festivals teaching men to make love and not war. Having big orgies and basically celebrating life to the extreme. He was prosecuted by the ego-driven society that came not long after he was spreading his message. Dionysus was then related to all the “bad” things we know in life: free sex, ecstatic dances, alcohol, eating for pleasure, creating just for the sake of creation.

Dionysos being Dionysos.

When I think of Dionysus I cannot ignore the resemblance to another Controversial guy that most people know as Osho. Osho burst into the western conciseness as a guru of a huge community of followers who cast his spell of trans meditation free love and sexual intercourse, ecstatic practice but on top of all his way of living got people really confused. he had 19 roles Royces diamond watches and in his community people were drinking celebrating and using drugs.
As we probably can guess, the Wasco county people were not so happy to share their community with those “bad” behaving people who left God’s path. They have taken any legal and illegal step to get reed of those “bad” people corrupting their quiet town. “wild wild country” tells a hell of a story about that struggle.

Love is a fearful message for some religion institutes.

If we will look closely on both, Dionysus and Osho’s way of living we can see that they provoke our greatest fears in our society. Fear brought to our life in the great service of the religious institutes and then by our formal education systems until it was tabooed that now we all being our own PC cops, judges and executioners. If we think about an artist, we have certain connotations about them.
they reckless, like to get wasted or drunk, they celebrate all night and sleep during the day, they are sexually driven and are irresponsible. Artist even often turns to homosexuality which can totally get most of us out of our comfort zone.

In our society, we have put artists in the place of the outcast, although that for some artists, none of the above will be true. But what if we, as unawakened artists suffer from the same beliefs? what if we are deeply afraid to be treated like Osho or Dionysos? what if we will be unloved because of the way we may live if we will become the creators we came to this word to be?
As potential artists, we act like birds in an invisible cage. not allowing ourselves to spread our wings and fly just because of the bars society planted in our minds.
