Sneak Peek: ODIN LABS and ODIN U
ODIN’s ecosystem is built on collaboratively-built blockchain-based products and services. In line with ODIN’s core values and ultimate mission of providing user-friendly solutions with an emphasis on privacy, we are pleased to inform you of two initiatives currently in development. More to come soon, but in the meantime here’s a snippet from the F.A.Q. section of both ODIN LABS and ODIN U (ODIN UNIVERSITY).
What is ODIN LABS?
ODIN LABS provides designers and engineers an opportunity to collaborate with ODIN Society in building new C#, C++, Typescript, and JavaScript applications. Easily interface with existing ODIN LABS infrastructure and the ODIN Blockchain now by joining other talented developers in their ongoing development of existing applications and blockchain services with ODIN LABS.
What is ODIN U?
ODIN University provides a place to learn about blockchain and blockchain-related services free of intimidation. We aim to provide information on a breadth of topics ranging from getting started in the blockchain space to developing your first blockchain-based product or service.
More information on both ODIN LABS and ODIN U, as well as the ability to vote on the perspective funding of both initiatives via our Masternode Proposal System, will be coming shortly, so stay tuned for the formal announcement in full!
Main Chain and M.A.S.H. Updates in the Works
Main Chain Progress
As mentioned previously, SegWit implementation continues to go smoothly on our TestNet and has passed initial audits. Primary chain implementation will commence in the coming weeks, and more information will be shared out with our community. There will be a mandatory wallet upgrade associated with the application of SegWit so be sure you’re subbed to our channels found below for the most up to date information on this. Additionally, ODIN will be implementing a SeeSaw reward structure to provide the community a say in how staking rewards are structured. Again, more in-depth detail on these initiatives will be shared out regularly on our Discord and Telegram.
M.A.S.H.
To provide our community with the best products and services possible, M.A.S.H. (Massive Automated Scalable Hosting) has recently undergone a full code audit and a migration to our official ODIN GitHub repository. This provides a multitude of benefits, including ensuring back-end tech is continually in tip-top shape, and collaborative work on the project’s expansion is easier than ever through initiatives like the previously mentioned ODIN LABs.
