Soundtrack of my life

006 and feeling free somehow

Molotov- Donde jugaran las niñas?

So you have a cd with songs tittled Puto (fag), Chinga tu madre (fuck you) and Cerdo (pig), yeah it is going to be funny as hell.

A lot of hip hop influence on this one and full of bashing out people on every track, as the openning one that is related to a news anchor very famous for so many years in mexico and how it was supposed to be a puppet and only tell what the company or the government wanted to be told (died recently and said that he never heard the song but that everyone is entittled to an opinion)

This was a huge success despite no one would believe in them as a band because, yes, you have a cd full of explicit language, funny in so many ways and no other way to be consider, is like to take seriously a joke and get offended by it. “Puto” (fag) is a song about a coward person, not about the gay ones, and in a funny way like saying: you are such a wuss. There, plain and simple, big party theme to be played anywhere
The mix is ok, bass little loud at times but it is intended to, every track has its own personality and you love it for that.
I remember i was at the beach one time for independence break during 2003 and met an italian guy that was so into one song from this record that talks about the corruption and all the crap that is the government in mexico and its politicas spheres, yeah it sucks; anyway we sang that one out loud for nothing matter at the moment
They go hard on a lot of people with the lyrics and is the king of thing you love about a band, they had a lot of censorship, obviously, and yet they became really famous. Going at highschool with this on your cd player (1997) was great and gave you that feeling that you so need when everything is so controlled by someone, the girl in underwear in the booklet was the sister of a guy in my class, who’d knew, the world is small as a napkin.

It goes for 12 tracks and over 35 min of fancy free things, at times with english spoken lyrics just because and catchy rythms and yet this is a good rock album. i believe they never did something as good as this one, still in the business though

The front cover is a girl in public school uniform in the back seat of a vw bug, cliche big time for the car, the uniform, the situation implied, a mockery in every way as the tittle as well (taken from a pop band back in 1992)
