Intramural Volleyball!

About three months ago I really bonded with people on my floor. We would do things like work out together, go out to eat, hang out on the weekends, and even do homework together. I realized they were my really close friends when we all were together and conversing. I realized it felt like I was at home and I could talk to them like I could talk to my high school friends; which could be hours.
We all wanted to keep being active together, so one day when we were in my good friend Bailey’s room, we decided that we wanted to start up an intramural team.
Right when we signed up our team for volleyball, we decided that our team would need lots of practice because no one had played volleyball in high school except for me. I was so excited to put the team together and get to work! We decided we would practice on Tuesday’s from 7pm-8.
Every practice was fun because we would mainly scrimmage the whole time or we would work on some drills. The last fifteen minutes we would usually goof off and just chat as a team. I really do enjoy practices because I feel like we all bond a little better each time which is always a plus.
So far we have lost every game. Which is pretty upsetting. We play our games Sunday nights at Cooke Hall around 9pm. Tonight is actually our last game so I really hope we can pull out a win. That would make my day. I am currently pretty stressed with assignments for the end of the semester, so I really want to win this game so I can have a little break from all of my homework.
