Later on in this story we will show you how to get your first Qooxdoo app up and running on no time. …
Have you been wondering what's happening in qooxdoo land, and if there will ever be a version 6 release? I can tell you now, there will! Just as it is with most projects, they often take a little longer than expected. We are mostly done with the coding, but the documentation and website still need some more attention before we are ready to make a splash. In any event, you can try the new qooxdoo now.
We have been paying close attention to not break code that worked on qooxdoo 5.0, so you should be fine with upgrading your existing…
I was working on a neat little project involving an Apache server in reverse proxy configuration sending requests on to a gateway host. The Apache sever acts as a normal web proxy towards its clients. Essentially the configuration looks like this.
The target web servers are also accessible directly on the open web, but when accessing them via
https://target.service-provider, they would require the user to go through a two factor authentication process.
The motivation for this setup is to let hosts using the proxy access their target web server without having to go through the extra authentication…
We are small company working out of Olten, Switzerland. Our specialty is Full Stack development and operation of IT systems. We love working with technology and building cool tools from it which make the lives of our customers simpler and more fun.
Our customers tell us that dealing with the same person from the start to the completion of their project makes working with us especially joyful.
For us Full Stack does not only mean being in command of all the technologies, but also writing the proposal, negotiating the contract and being at hand for support once the project goes into production.
You can find more about us on our website: www.oetiker.ch

This seamless browser authentication is based on a proprietary protocol called NTLM. …
I like to keep my perl modules lean when it comes to dependencies. But then again, CPAN is just so wonderful with all the helpful packages available. So there are always dependencies.
When writing perl modules, more often than not a few dependencies creep in … which makes it a whee bit awkward when developing the module, because I then have to somehow install these dependencies, and I would rather not get them all over the place but neatly in the module directory so that I have at least a semblance of a stable development environment.
So here goes my…
For quite some time there has been no news on what is up with qooxdoo. If you had a look at our github repository recently, you may have noticed though that there is plenty of life. Here are the recent developments:
