I agree in theory, but I’m sitting here as Horncats fan having watched my team bottom out over a couple of seasons that were just as bad as what the Sixers fans have had to put up with and all we’ve got to show for it are a 27-year-old all-star reserve, a couple of first round playoff exits, and a bunch of mediocrity and bad contracts. I may have warmer feelings about the team if I got to watch them on a regular basis, but I live in North Carolina and their games aren’t even on our local cable TV, so I have to enjoy them vicariously through the internet. Putting an entertaining product on the floor is great, but hope and some kind of future plan is nice too is what I’m saying.
