The facts of the case as we know them point very strongly to Rose being guilty. He is owed the presumption of innocence by the legal system, but not by us as fans of the sport he plays. By assuming he’s innocent, you’re assuming that his accuser is a liar. Either way, you’re presuming guilt. Personally, I’d rather err towards supporting victims and not the mouth-breather who doesn’t know what consent means and admits to pressuring his ongoing sex partner into having a three-way and breaking up with her for not being down with it.
