Your math sucks. 13% of the films have at least one significant black character in them. Unless those films all only have one leading character in them, that means they likely have multiple white people in the other lead roles. Based on the those numbers, the likelihood that black actors make up even 2% of total roles is slim to none. In fact, when you dig deeper into the numbers, around 60% of British movies feather no black actors and 50% of the 13% mentioned in this article were clustered in just 47 films, less than five percent of the 1,172 films in the survey. So long story short, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Maybe you should learn some basic logic and reading comprehension before accusing other people of “race-baiting” next time.
